Chanteuse Derby Browne performs her personal tribute to Edith Piaf, with classics such as ‘La Vie En Rose’, ‘No Regrets’, ‘Autumn Leaves’ and ‘Under The Bridges of Paris’ in our Arts & Culture Centre on Saturday 27th September, doors open 7:30pm
Pigalle is packed with music from the cabarets and cafes of Paris, with romantic interludes from Parisian tea-shops, carnivals and market-places, portraying the diminutive chanteuse’s life of poverty from the streets of Paris slums to worldwide fame and notoriety. Romance, poverty, success, murder and music - Pigalle has all the ingredients to transport an audience back to the murky yet glamorous era of 1930’s/40’s Paris.
